"The breezy pace of Red Helicopter reads like a fictional movie, but it’s a true story and a must-read. (Netflix should option this — with Stephen Yeun playing Rhee, it could be the perfect follow-up to Beef!)" Read Article.
I am forever changed by this book. To all of you thinking about reading this book: DO IT. You will find in it the HOPE you always knew was inside you but got buried too deeply. That is the same hope that is the undercurrent of REAL power around us.
I hope we get to see the movie. The scenes in the book are so vivid.
I am gifting this book to my young-adult children and will begin a virtual book club. I can’t help but wish I had acquired this wisdom earlier in life.
This book is part memoir, part introductory business overview, part self-help and at the end of the day, the synthesis of all these strands is magic. It reminds you what matters - forging goodwill in the world through your caring and competence - just simple kindness and simple math. Can't recommend it enough!
As a millennial woman navigating a career in creative industry, I feel blessed to have read this book that connects math/money and kindness/creativity. This book shows how the two can co-exist in a symbiotic relationship
I cannot think of a better book to read right now, about how we need to navigate business and humanity in tandem.
Red Helicopter is an incredible tale that defies belief, and the business results speak for itself. But Red Helicopter is not just about a company reinvention—it's also a journey of personal growth and transformation. It's a treasure trove of stories and lessons, a unique blend of life and business, and everything in between.
It is refreshing to peel back the covers on a company and leader that is so relatable. This is one of the few books where I believe the lessons and values discussed can be universally accepted.
Always like “different” business books though most of them are just retreads of old stuff. Not Red Helicopter ... you will see yourself in this book - everyone will see themselves.
